The Roots Of Afro Cuban Jazz - Men's Unisex Oatmeal Tri-Blend Short Sleeve T-shirt
Brand The Art Of Soul Ltd
Can you hear the beat of the conga drums? Everyone around the world embraced the Latin jazz sound. The influence of Cuban jazz started in the 1940’s and Brazilian jazz in the 1950’s. Hollywood made movies with stars like Judy Holliday and Jack Lemmon dancing the salsa and the meringue to the live percussion of a Latin jazz band in the 1954 version of “It Should Happen to You”. Latin jazz has been a major contributor to the jazz world since the 19th century when various international jazz artists incorporated the rich sound of Latin jazz into the mainstream market.
Our “Afro Cuban Jazz” t-shirt is created with the love for Latin jazz music and celebrates the Bossa Nova sound through the Samba with influences from all over Latin America.
